The Top Ten Reasons you should come by the Arisia '07 Masquerade Table early in the convention.

10. You can take care of all the annoying paperwork early so you can finish your costume in your hotel room. [Remember: All members of your entry who will be on stage must sign these forms.]

9. To visit with Stage Manager David Silber (on Friday) to prepare for the best possible Tech Support.

8. So that you might get the Tech Rehearsal slot you want.
[All members of your entry who will be on stage must be at your Tech Rehearsal.]

7. To fix the errors introduced in your pre-registration by the automation process - those pesky little gnomes in the machine.

6. To bring chocolate to bribe the Director and her minions to give you a favored spot in the run order.

5. If you discovered that you left a key part of your costume at home, or need a special prop, we may be able to help you figure out an alternative.

4. To tell us that you couldn't find appropriate music for your entry, or didn't put it onto a recordable CD yourself. We may be able to help you if you're early enough.

3. You'll have time for that One Final Rehearsal that positively guarantees that you'll Shock and Awe the audience and the Judges into giving your costume scads of awards.

2. If you're wearing something interesting, you might win a Hall Costume Award.

And the number 1 reason to come by the Arisia '07 Masquerade Table early IS

That Jill will love you forever if you make her job easier.

The Masquerade Registration Table will be open in the Hyatt Lobby, near the Crispus Attucks room and at the bottom of the escalator, from 3 to 9pm Friday and from 10 to 1pm Saturday.

You must sign various release forms (for Young Fen, bring your parent) and verify your information on site.

Tech Rehearsals, which require you to come by the table first, will be from 11 to 2pm Saturday. David Silber, the Stage Manager, will be at the Masquerade registration table for much of Friday.

The run order for the show will be determined by Jill after 2 and before 4pm on Saturday, in a nice quiet place with hot chocolate.

The Masquerade Green Room will be available at 6pm in the Courtyard Reception Area, until about 30 minutes after the end of the Masquerade.

The Kamikaze Kids' Green Room (Young Fen are also welcome here) will be available from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the Crispus Attucks function room.

All entrants must sign in at the Masquerade Green Room (except the Kamikaze Kids) before 7:15pm or you WILL BE SCRATCHED.

Kamikaze Kids must sign in at the Crispus Attucks Green Room before 7:15pm or you WILL BE SCRATCHED.

Remember to EAT A REAL MEAL before reporting to any Green Room. This will not only make your participation more pleasant, but it will also be nice for everyone around you. All fingers, toes, and other appendages should remain on the human they started on (unless you are a cannibal entry!).

IF YOU WANT TO video or photograph the Masquerade or our entries, come by and talk to us. We want to know about you and try to help you accomplish your goals while accomplishing ours.
