Arisia '07 will use two hotels.  All functions and parties will be at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge.  Overflow guest rooms are available at the Marriott Cambridge in Kendall Square.  Due to the open design of the Hyatt, even quiet rooms there will be louder than rooms at the Marriott.

Rooms at the Marriott

All rooms at the Marriott are $115 per night plus 12.45% tax.  Reservations may still available online, despite the fact that the reservation deadline has passed.  There will be shuttle service between the two hotels. We will not be doing blocking at the Marriott; rooms there will be intermingled with the general public.

All rooms at the Marriott are Quiet rooms.

Rooms at the Hyatt

All rooms at the Hyatt are sold out as of November 28.  

All regular rooms at the Hyatt are the same size and thus the same price regardless of how many people are staying in the room:  $115 per night plus 12.45% tax.

Blocks

There will be three blocks at the Hyatt:  Active, Quiet, and Smoking.

Party Hosts

Please contact innkeeper@arisia.org to request a wait-list reservation in an appropriately located room and mention that you would like to be a party host.  We also have a limited number of spaces available for open parties only in small function rooms; these spaces are available from 6pm Saturday to 6am Sunday and cost $60 all inclusive for the night.  Please contact parties@arisia.org to request one of these spaces.

Handicap Access

As of November 15, the remaining handicap-accessible rooms in the Hyatt have tub and hand bars, and accessible fixtures in the bathroom.  Rooms with roll-in shower are sold out.  If you need your reservation to have an accessible bathroom, please stop by the innkeeper desk at check-in.

Cots/Rollaways, Cribs, Mini-Fridges, etc

King rooms can have a cot added to them.  You can request a cot, or crib at check-in.  It is now too late to request a mini-fridge, but if you asked for one when you made your reservation there will be one for you. The charge for a fridge is $25, except in case of medical necessity.

Suites

Suites in the Hyatt are now all spoken for, but it's always possible a suite (or more likely, connecting rooms) might appear on the waiting list.  Suites are $239 per night for 1br, or $354 per night for 2br, plus 12.45% tax.

Connecting Rooms

There are a limited number of connecting rooms in the hotel, so it will probably not be possible to arrange for this at check-in time.

Special Placement (Shabbat, Staff, etc)

At this time placement in the hotel has been finalized and the Innkeeper staff are unlikely to be able to accomodate last-minute requests.

Early Or Late Stays

The $115 rate applies for five days before and after the convention.  Extending reservations at check-in may be possible so inquire of the hotel staff when you arrive.

Cancelling Or Modifying Reservations 

To cancel a room, please call the hotel at 617-492-1234.  The deadline for canceling rooms is 4pm EST the day before arrival.
